Believe

by Liz   Jul 2, 2005

You tell me you know,
You know all my secrets,
The good,
The bad,
The truth.

You tell me some stories,
Of which only parts are true,
You don't believe me when I say,
No, you're not right,
I wouldn't,
I've never,
You don't believe the truth.

You always told me,
Lies are easier to believe,
But believe me now,
I'm telling the truth.

You gossip to others,
The stories you've heard,
Now all everyone knows the lies,
They believe them of course,
I become victimized by lies from a trusted companion.
