A Double Sacrifice For Love [pt 1]

She wakes up one morning
And like every other day
She awoke to get dressed
To be moving on her way

Her lover then calls her
Tells her to be at the door
To walk to school together
Yet it is something more

Finally he comes up to her
They walk hand in hand
He wasn't acting right and
She couldn't understand

She thought she saw a tear
But he brushed it all away
Yet she waited patiently for
What her lover had to say

They then stopped at a place
Where they had first met
“You remember?” he asked
Of course she didnt forget

Then he faced her closely
Hands around her waist
Finally the words came out
“Baby, I feel so disgraced”

“I don't understand” she said
Please, tell me what is wrong
“Of course you would never
I've been cheating all along”

Tears welled up in her eyes
“wh… why did you do this?”
Her body was terribly shaking
He tried to end it with a kiss

She pulled away from him
And told him to just explain
All she wanted to do was run
She was in emotional pain

He said he still loved her
Along with someone else
But she didn't understand
The feelings that he felt

“How could you love another
When I gave it to you all?
How could you even hold me
And then watch as I fall?”

“I swear darling I love you
And that is why I am here
I hate the past and what I did
I wish it would all disappear”

She couldnt take any more
Next she did was run away
No excuse for what he did
Or whatever he has to say

She could hear him calling
And his footsteps in the air
Voices were haunting her
And very little did she care

Suddenly a hand grabbed her
Hit her hard on the back
She let out a small scream
And everything went black
