Untitled for now

by tormented   Jul 3, 2005

Sleepless again.
i wander the night.
awaiting my prince,
he\'s a valiant knight.
he promised to come.
to wrap on my door,
so i wont have to feel alone anymore,
to whisk me away,
on his noble steed,
to ride away and never return,
to leave behind the ash trail we burn,

he should have been here by now,
this we all know,
the hours fly by,
two and fro,
i look out my window on the tower so high,
i see my prince riding,
i see him trying,
i see the man, the guard at the door.
He pulls out his rifle,
A flash of light brightens the rode to my front door,
I see his helmet crash,
all my fears relapse,
i see his valiant steed,
fall to the pavement below.
all my dreams are crushed as my prince\'s crimson river flows,

In just a moment,
my life was changed,
prince charming was murdered to a guard with no name.
but on the nights so crisp and clear,
i hear my prince riding,
velvet flag flying,
raping on my door lightly,
here to whisk me away
