Nightmare

by EarlyBird01   Jul 12, 2005

I had a dream,
On this past night,
A nightmare full of horror,
Of what awaits you my friend,
And it brought me shear terror.
I dreamed that you had departed,
In sleep, no fright there,
The great panic came when I noted
What awaited you after.
I saw you wait in a line,
Nothing happened through that time.
But when you got up to the end,
You stopped and spoke to The Lord,
I did not hear what He said,
I only know what you did.
You fell to the ground,
Crying and pleading,
Then suddenly I turned around.
Two massive guards swept up to you,
And grabbed you by the arms,
Then pitched you through a dark hole,
I feared they’d done you harm.
So I went to look,
Then pulled back in fright,
For the terror that lie within.
I could never depict,
All I that saw,
But this should be all to convince:
You were in a lake of fire,
Wanting desperately to escape,
But it burned you so terribly,
Not one move could you make.
Then I woke with a start,
And ran to find you,
For my friend,
You were in hell,
It’s unpleasant, but true.
So heed my words, I beg you,
Throw all quarrels unto the wind
For I cannot rest until I know
That you are free from sin.
Reader, please understand,
God has one fixed command;
To accept His Son,
There is no other way,
Or death is the price you’ll pay.
Please remember, my dire warning,
Don’t be the friend in this story.
Every day, Jesus is calling,
He wants you to join
In His eternal glory.

Hey this had such a great message to it. If you work on the flow a little it would be perfect, but I think it is still good.
