Words not spoken, thoughts not penned
Behind the mask is where I am

I have never known of a love so great
I have never felt a heart so warm

You left me wondering in awe
If you’re the angel sent from above

You picked me up when I’m drowning
Although you were grasping too

But now
Why did u have to leave?
Why did God have to do this?

I see you when I’m asleep
I think of you when I’m awake

I wish that I would never have to wake
So that the embrace of you will last

If only you knew
How much hurt you’ve cause

If only I noticed the pain behind eyes
Then you wouldn’t have died

Wait for me
I will be there soon

Away from these discriminations
And declare publicly
That we are one
