I know now it was your time,
I understand now why it was that way,
It was something you had to say,
I understand that you had pain,
Pain no one could help with,
No one could fix,
To speak of you causes hurt,
But puts a smile on an others face,
So many happy times shared with you,
So many to remember this is true,
You left a mark one each one of our lives,
You touched us in a special way,
A space in hearts not the slightest bit empty,
Even if you have left this earth,
In our hearts I know you’ll forever be,
Always looking over your family,
We said our goodbye to you that day,
But it wasn’t the last,
For I believe that soon I’ll be seeing you,
Tears for you still fall,
This will happen for some time more,
You were someone special to us all.
