The master and the puppet

by tiffany   Jul 13, 2005

I am the puppet
you are the master
telling me what to do
while I blindly follow
you dance me around
make me do stupid tricks
I look up at you and see a great person
I’m willing to do anything for
while you on the other hand
just see me as someone you can boss around
but one day you will let those strings slip a little
just enough so that I can see what you really are
and I will snap those ropes that bound me for so long
and I will run and never look back
