Am I dreaming?

I see myself on the phone
talking to someone who's voice familiar

I hear her voice, and it makes my heart faster

I think about the last time I saw her
I remember her beauty

I was on the phone
now I'm at the mall
I walking through it
with her next to me

I look over and I smile
and she looks back over at me
and she smiles back me

I'm at the theater
but my eyes aren't on the screen
they're looking at her

I blush as she notices
where my eyes are
she smiles and blushes back

I call for a ride
after the movie
and I watch her leave the car

I wave goodbye
and she waves back.

Now I'm at home
remembering everything
that happened that day.

No, I'm not dreaming
it all happened
it was all for real.

And I'm so happy it did.
It was
no dream.
