The Night

by Thomas Key   Aug 31, 2006

Behold a dark dark night
nothing is walking, nor taking flight
no hope remains
no one left to blame

but aghast what is this?
red light from a far
it is the sun, in all of it's bliss
stretching out its gaze, quickly and hard

hope returns to this little place
walking and flying, returning to life
the sun a new craze
excitement and glee comes out of the flame

and at last life is life
hope is back
a reason to live this life
the sun is back.
