Music Left Unheard

by eternal rest   Jul 17, 2005

“No mommy we cant let it go!”
Tugging at mommies’ skirt.
“I’m sorry Hun, we have to sell it.”
The grievance was unbearable.
“No! There has to be another way!”
Yelled under sullen sobs.
“There comes a time in life,
When we must be strong,
And let go of what we love the most.”
Picking her up and holding her close.
“This is one of those times?”
Said with a sniffle.
“Yes dear. It is”
Tears sliding down.
“Come on dear, lets go.”
Walking away as the men take it away.
“I still love you mommy…”
Innocence can never be hidden
“I love you too, dear.”

*this was based off of this picture i stumbled upon. http://www.deviantart.com/view/20662687/ i decided to experiment with the format a little... i really like the way it turned out*
