Fell in love with the best thing.

There's always that one person that will always win your heart.
I knew you were it from the start.
We were close friends, with a different kind of connection.
I ran to you when I needed you the most.
You were my everything.
Then things started to get weird.
You just stopped calling and coming around.
My heart broke.
I came to find out I loved you so much.
Now because I fell in love with you, I have nothing.
When we talk now theres tension, and we argue so much.
I just wish everything was normal, so I can get this smile back.
How I long to have your touch, so simple, but yet so much.

****This poem is a my thoughts, I don't think its that good but I needed to get this out. I was really close to this one guy, to where it was to the the point where we always were together, now we don't talk anymore. He just stopped coming around. I miss him, not only as the guy that i fell in love with but one of my best friends. I really think he's gone for good this time. I love him so much!*****

    Thanks Guys for commenting my poems. It's been 6 months since I talked to him, thats a long time. I no for sure I have lost him for good. I see him sometimes, but he can't even give me the time of day to say Hey! But that's ok cuz I realized that I'm so much happier without him. Even though I still think about him, I'm ok.

    The best kind of poems are poems with actual feeling. When you can FEEL the love or the pain or the confusion. Which you can feel in this poem... you are a great writer, and you should definately keep at it. Never forget who you are... and the talent you have. Great work, 5/5

    heyhey, thanks for commenting on my poem... i really liked yours...i can connect so much to it. I love the part where you say "We were close friends, with a different kind of connection.
    I ran to you when I needed you the most.
    You were my everything" cuz thats how it was for me. And don't worry I'm sure if you need him, just tell him and I,m sure he'll be there for you. Cuz if he was always there for you before probably now too, he cares about you! anyways good job!
