Dear Shane, Part VI

by Jesslyn   Jul 18, 2005

Dear Shane,

I'm sorry about my last letter.
I guess I was a little angry.
This one will be better.
I hope you can forgive me.

So, did you sleep well.
Did you hear the storm?
I don't sleep, I dwell.
Have a dream of some form?

I lay awake
And stared at my ceiling,
Thinking of God's game of give and take.
I can't get rid of this awful feeling.

I miss you now,
While we're apart.
How will I get by when you're here? How?
I feel tart.

Sweet & Sour.
I knew about the bad and the good.
I wish I could remain within this hour.
But then again, I don't think I would.

You come home tomorrow.
So sleep well tonite.
Tomorrow is full of sorrow.
Dream of you holdin me tight.
