Nightly Routine

by Black~Rose   Jul 18, 2005

Sit at my desk for hours
Watch my candles burn
Write all my thoughts and ideas on paper
Music blasting in the background
Wonder and daydream about what I have in store
Ponder on love, either it's real or not
I seem to screw up everything
Silence......
Loneliness sets in
The nightly tears stream down my face
Tear stained eyes never look so calm
In the mirror a girl waiting to go home looks back at me
She's been through a lot
If only they knew
If they could only feel her fear
If they could only see her visions
The moonlight fills the room
Make a wish on a star
Where is the way out
When will I find it
Slowly drift off into blackness
The never ending nightmare begins once again
Just another night like every night
Tomorrow night same old routine
