I got just what i wanted
but now im not so sure

cuz what i wanted so long ago
isnt what i really want anymore

now i thought i would be happy
but i guess i was wrong

Cuz now ive lost the only thing
ive really wanted all along

now i dont have a choice
and im stuck with what ive got

but i feel so damn dirty
for all that ive done

i know that she loves me
and do i love her too

but i just cant believe
that i fell so hard for you

i never meant to hurt you
i hope you know thats true

i truely thought it was over
and i was so in love with you

and now im left here cryin
as the blood drips down my arm

just knowin you dont want me;
im inflictin more self harm

and now ive hurt you even more
than i ever could have known

but you really broke my heart
now im even more torn

so heres to always getting
exactly what you want

life is filled with irony
it will always tease and taunt

so be carefull what you wish for
cause your dreams just might come true

but just a minute too late
and youll always regret

that you just couldnt wait....
