How much I truly love you

A little girl with broken dreams
And a shattered little heart
Loved a boy who never knew
He tore her life apart.

Everyday she saw him
And looked into his eyes
Forced a smile on her face
Then cried on the inside.

She knew he'd never take her
Or want to be together
But no matter what she did
Her love would last forever.

So every night she took her blade
And cut into her skin
Knowing she's not good enough
And she'll never be with him.

As days went by her life got worse
She had to let him know
Her love for him will never end
And she won't ever let him go.

Once he heard, he was surprised
He had not much to say
Only words that broke her heart
"I don't like you in that way".

He crushed her with but 7 words
And left her alone to cry
Leaving her there with nothing
Without even a goodbye.

So now she lies beside her bed
With a note and a knife
Covered deep with her own blood
Ending her useless life.

He was truly her whole world
And was everything she'd need
But since he didn't want her
A note was left for him to read..

"I'm sorry for what I've caused
I'm sorry that I'm dead
Although you probably do not care
From all that you had said.

Ever since the day we met
I knew right from the start
You'd completely take my breath away
And I'd love you with all my heart.

But since you didn't like me
I did what I had to do
I killed myself so that you'd know
How much I truly love you!"
