Cold War

by Louise   Jul 20, 2005

It’s a war in here,
In my head,
It’s all blown apart,
From confusion,
It may mend,
But there will always be hate,
A chance it might happen again,
Casualties mounting,
The fighting’s getting worse,
I don’t think it’s ever gonna end,
Not this time,
Last time it did,
With help,
But I have to deal with this on my own,
Help is my last resort,
I am not coping very well,
All this frustration is building up,
Need a release,
Can’t find one,
I am wasting time,
Thinking of what I should do,
About my head,
The state of it,
The mess im in,
I breakdown,
Had enough of it all,
Pain is bearing down on me,
Can not hold on much longer,
I am giving up,
Call me a quitter,
But people don’t understand me,
Like I don’t understand them,
Like I don’t understand all the fighting in my head,
The reason for it,
I need help but I shrugged it off first time,
They won’t give me any,
I am too far screwed up,
To be helped now anyway,
Im gonna let go,
Be taken away from the fighting,
Be in peace,
At long last,
After all the bloodshed,
In this cold war
