Trying to hold on to the memories,
of you holding me in your arms
of the kisses that always meant something
of the phone calls that went on for hours
of the nights that we spent together
of the jokes that made us both laugh
of the days when we talked of forever
of the times that we slow danced
trying to hold on to the memories
because now they're all I have left
