Tears are shed for many reasons
that the heart cannot explain.
yet the most precious things
remains life's sweet mystery.
only if a code, a rule, a law,
was set out to ensure the protection
of one's comfort.
others cannot simply judge, even the
most judgmental parts of one's heart.
if clouds could collect tears,
the world would be in a storm,
that would surpass even the days
of Noah's journey.
for the people in this world are in constant
worry, hurt, joy, and happiness.
the amount of tears shed does not
place a price on one's feelings.
it cannot be used against them to
see if they have a heart of stone or cotton.
yet, tears should be a sign, a symbol if not,
of the way people view different situations.
for i may smile at one's passing for they are at rest,
while another mourn, for the lost of love.
tears have meanings and regardless of the
situation, tears are shed for reasons the heart cannot explain.
