The desperate angel

by joey   Jul 24, 2005

There she is, so defenseless and alone
Shutting herself out to the world
List of hidden feelings grows as she gets old
never the one to shed a tear
Or admit to harboring a problem or fear

There she sits unconnected to her countless Friends
Willing to put all of them before her until the end

There she is so captivating and amazing
A Jewish doctor to be, She's is everything someone would want to see

An angel on Earth with the most beautiful grace,
And not to mention a glamorous face
That staggers the on lookers heart beat
She is breath taking and perfect
And every time she walks bye that's the affect

She's one of those people
That makes this world such a beautiful place
With all her smiles and tastes
Teasing everyone, letting them long for her kiss
Living on the edge not knowing how much she would be missed

There she is, perfect, and yet unbelievably so much more
She has the looks you would die for

But there she staggers, straight into darkness,
All alone, a bottle of vodka in her hand,
She locks the door behind,
I swear I can see a tear,
But maybe thats just the words in her poems
Because when I get there she is fine

Unfortunately, one day she will fall
And who will be there to catch it all
Wipe away any tears, chase away her cares,
And replace the bottles in her hand

There she goes again, masking her tears,
And using vodka to cover her fears
She's scared to open up
Scared to be hurt
To scared to give it a chance
She's to scared to be broken

She's an angel,
Surreal, like a dream, and the fantasy of the eyes,
She doesn't know, but she'll never have broken wings
And when she decides, she will soar,
Because when she falls I'm here to pick her off the floor.
