Haunted

I gave him back his ring
and tried to give back his heart
but he left it in my hand
so I watched it fall apart
then I looked up to his eyes
and watched them fill with tears
I watched all the pain come
he'd held back for all those years
I cant believe I broke his heart
his tears still haunt my mind
I see him falling to his knees
searching for something he'd never find
In my mind hes kneeling there
and I can hear his screams
I cant believe hes kneeling there
every night in all my dreams
And then he cuts his wrists
he yells "You watch me bleed,
I trusted you with my heart,
your the one I'll always need."
I didn't even shed one tear
stood there with a heart of stone
I got real close and whispered
"Oh no, you'll die alone."
but now the tears are falling
and now I just cant sleep
Because I took his life away
and the pain runs way to deep
