The Book Of Reality: Friends

by **Just Her**   Jul 25, 2005

Provoke me like you used to
Persuasion is your key
You can unlock my past
With your power over me

You want to dig down so deep
You want me to reveal
You want me to be torn apart
Just so you know how I feel

Well my dear old friend
The one with every excuse
I would tell you everything
But there is no use

See you’re the type of person
Who just does not care
Curiosity is your objective
And I seem to always be there

My words are your entertainment
Like an old fairy tail
I entertain you until the happy ending
And then your boredom prevails

You live on my misery
And thrive on each sob story
As long as you get all the details
Your satisfied with me

But like any other shallow reader
You stop at the end
You don’t care about the authors opinions
Because the best has already been said

So dear friend, keep living on my words
I know you really do not care
But I am not hard to please
A friend is a friend who is not always there
