Whispers

Take my cries you hear through the night,
Always keep them in your eye-sight.

Leave me here in my own sorrow,
Maybe things will get better tomorrow.

Take my pain that you can feel,
See how inside of me it’s unbearably real.

Then look into my eyes of rolling tears,
And see my life passing by over the years.

Take my whispers of deadliness,
And see how it’s no longer connected with any happiness.

So stay here and watch as my smile turns into a frown,
Lying in my own weaknesses upon the cold ground.

Take my cries into the darkness of the night,
But please always keep them in you eye-sight.

Then leave me here to finally close my eyes,
As you can hear my last deadly cry.
