Simple Misunderstandings

I was up the whole night
Feeling guilty about our fight
We fought about stupid things
Simple misunderstandings
I said this, you thought that
I wanted to kiss, you fought back
I didn't understand
Why you let go of my hand
Why so suddenly
I thought you were going to break up with me
I cried all night long
Thinking of what I did wrong
Wanting so bad to hold you
And say that none of it was true

You called this morning
Like there hadn't been anything
Like there was no fight
That we were alright
You told me you loved me
And not to be angry
You had me so scared
That you no longer cared
Turned out you forgot
That we ever fought
That you were supposed to call
You forgot it ALL
You went out with your friend
Thinking hurts would mend
Not realizing how many tears
Would fall from uncalmed fears

**True story...we're still together but, yea, had to write it and get it out! Not sure I like the title though...any suggestions?**

    well here are some suggestions on the tittle but i like it as is.
    You forgot
    You Forgot it All
    Unclamed fears
    Up All Night.
    Those are just some suggestions but i like the tittle anyways great job with the poem I truly loved reading it. I can relate to the topic because me and my Ex b/f used to fight all the time. But then we finally broke up because I got tired of fighting lol. Anyways great job. I loved reading it. Seemed effortless to write for you. But your very talented writer keep up the great work. I am adding you to my favorites. xoxox Britney xoxox
