Cut Away The Pain

Hush...let it all stop
hear the blood drip and drop
shh...close you're eyes
stop the tears from your cry last night

when i woke up i was numb
to figure out what happened, i was so dumb
i closed my eyes and pressed it shut
i didn't want to see my wrist, with the painful cuts

i knew what i did last night
had a good cry, looked around and said good-bye
i remember collapsing to the floor
then...it was all a blur

now I'm saying
what was i thinking?
am i clueless or stupid?
now i need an excuse and try to forget it

i ran to the bathroom to see my face
my eyes are so red because of this horrible place
people don't see how painful it is
to see everyone enjoying this

am i the only one lost and broken?
I'm walking around with this burden
i guess I'll try to live this life
and every morning wonder if I'm dead or alive
