Shattered

by Daniel Solomon   Aug 2, 2005

When I’m all alone.
I ask myself what my feelings have shown.
These dreams get dragged in masses.
And they finally break away, my iconoclasm.
Shattering everything I’ve ever had.
To hold tightly the things that make me sad.
All the hate and hurting brings me to my knees.
I’ll keep holding on until I start to bleed.
Until the bleeding starts to gratify.
Maybe by that time I’ll have a piece of mind.
I will find myself today.
Then I will break away.
Inside my dreams, I found out what mattered.
My visions, my dreams. Inside they shattered.
