I Won't Be there

by [п]єєснап*томι   Aug 2, 2005

You were the only one who understood,
the only one who knew,
But now I'm a piece of dirt,
that hardly means anything to you,

You're not worth crying over,
you're not worth my tears.
You promised not to ever leave me,
but they all see you did.
I can't deny what I feel for you,
I can't deny that I care,
but I'm letting you know that if you ever come back,
I just won't be there.

You opened that door and walked out,
Never even daring to look back,
All those special moments we had shared,
Thrown out the window as if it didn't happen.

Why should I care that you're gone?
Why should I care that you're now out of my life?
If you ever decide to come back, I just won't be there.

You're not worth crying over,
you're not worth my tears.
You promised not to ever leave me,
but they all see you did.
I can't deny what I feel for you,
I can't deny that I care,
but I'm letting you know that if you ever come back,
I just won't be there.

** In my opinion this isn't one of my best but
I had nothing better to do when I wrote this. And that my brain is probably fried from the heat. But nonetheless, hope you liked it. n_n
