Forte

by Daniel Solomon   Aug 4, 2005

Strength in and weakness out.
Separate the differences.
The sun is gone and the moon is out.
Star struck is the only reference.
Old and young.
The intelligent and the stupid.
The battle is already won.
Just blame yourself. You’re only human.
The better days and those that have gone to waste.
A reality check is all that matters.
Your whole way of life. It must be erased.
Because you don’t even care what happens to the world if it shatters.
False caring and negligence.
Both beyond your ability to feel.
Breaking off from your independence.
It happens because it’s real.
Without feeling you act in an inept matter.
Judging others at their own expense.
How much will it take before you stagger?
Even now it appears irrelevant.
The fire burns from your desire.
I continue to excel. The fire burns in me too.
Because of this, the flames grow higher.
My forte….is judging you.
