Oh pillow,

by M MEM   Aug 4, 2005

Oh sweet orange pillow,
You will never betray me.
You hold my secrets,
My tears,
My pain.
You're always there,
You let me cry on you,
You let me hit you when I'm mad,
You let me hug you when I'm sad
It's sad though,
That you, all 100% cotton of you,
You are the only one,
The only one,
I can confess to,
I can hold.
But your one flaw?
You don't love back,
You just lie there.
I confess to you,
But you don't give any advice,
You're just there.
After you dry my tears,
Where am I supposed to go?

Interesting.. I really liked it though, because I can relate I know how it feels when it seems the only one you can talk to is your pillow. Sometimes its good and other times it just doesnt help. Nice poem, and thanx for your comment.

Aww i liked this one a lot! I love how you used the simple pillow as your comfort throught the poem. People are so cruel in this world, but we can never let them change who we are. We need to stand above them, because an eye for an eye would leave the whole world blind:)

I really liked it! Not something that everybody's writing about. It was a good how you used the pillow as the equivalent to a person kinda thing. Cause all those things you said, are so very true. I like. Check mine out if you wish. Xx Peace xX
