Pain

Looking deep into your eyes
I try to tell you why
But seeing you start to cry
Just makes me wanna die.

You don’t understand
Why I’m in so much pain
My lover and my best friend
Is what I wanted you to remain.

But now you’re gone
And I’m all alone
I can’t move on
Here on my own.

I look down at my arm
As i start to bleed
I’m back to self-harm
I didn’t succeed

I thought I could stop
And find another way
To deal with this pain
But I guess I can’t
Cuz I will never be okay.
