Never loved

by bucky   Aug 5, 2005

He goes unnoticed
Slipping farther away each day
He looks for a place to hide
Hoping to get away
Away from a thought, that far to many have fought
From a thought that has always brought him pain
He fights a battle knowing that in the end there is nothing to be gained

He waits because that’s all he can do
Hoping that someone will eventually pull him through
Through the deep, deep hole that now holds his soul
There isn’t much more time he can wait
Death is becoming his fate
If only he had more time
More time to wait

Soon he will rest in peace
Underneath the ground
His soul will be released
Not to be found
Soon he will go to a better place
Where there is no pain, suffering or misery
A place where his spirit can roam free

This is the man that only a few can understand
This is the man that keeps to himself
He is a lonely hearted man
That will one day kill himself
For he will never be loved

    good ryming scheme
    'Through the deep, deep hole...'
i think if you said 'depths of the hole...'
instead of saying deep twice, it would streangthen it a little.
