You ask yourself

by M MEM   Aug 5, 2005

You all ask yourself,
Why?
You ask in so many forms,
But it won't get any of you anywhere
YOU drove me to slit my wrists,
You look backat the once me,
She smiled,
She had friends,
She had good grades,
Thats what you saw,
You didn't see the effect
Of your words against me,
You didn't see me crying myself to sleep,
You didn't see past the masks,
None of you ever really asked if I was okay,
You never thought I'd do this,
Too late now,
I hope you like regret,
Because
For years you'll wish
You did something
You said something,
Too late now!
But how many of you really care?
You'll see the effects soon enough,
Words, actions, looks, lies all hurt.
Words, actions, looks, lies all can kill.
And they did...

Sooo sooo true!! words can kill, i know because this year in school has been so tough for me, people that were jealous of me were calling me names, it even got to the point where they caught me one day and beat me up:S anyways, after that day, ive learned not to care what others think about me, and if anyone stands in my way, i ignore them and do great in school as well as focus on my singing/songwriting career. Now they can all kiss my ass! Lol, good poem!
