Wedded to Sarcasm

by AGirlWorthFightingFor   Aug 11, 2005

Was it something I said?
Was it something I said?

Wedded to sarcasm
Devoted to you

This magnifying glass knows who I am
Cuts to the core of who you are
Some words strike your feelings
But silence is less fun

Nothing breaks the endless chain
All the thoughts left in my brain
This is the sound of the here and now
You've got to talk to get it all out

This is a fair warning
If you set me up
I will dumb it down

I'm sorry if it may sound mean
But that's all I can be, it's just me
You don't have to love, but atleast
Understand my wit to love me

Take it with a grain of salt
A slice of lemmon
and maybe, a bottle of tequila

I have to say what is on my mind
To give a glimpse of my heart
I take humor seriously, as it is applied
I cannot please everyone at all times

Was it something I said?
All apologies

Just stay away from the white lie
I'll tell you what sides your best side
The Laughing Stock Of All Time
I'll be here until the credits roll

I'm just a girl wedded to sarcasm
Comic genius and hack charlatan
Devoted to laughter, bedded with you
A joke to the world, but my love is true
Wedded to Sarcasm, because you are too
