Eye

by Idiosyncratic   Aug 12, 2005

Eyes deadly serious
Critique your every move
Giving all of us
More and more to lose

Eyes so black
Full of scorn
What they lack
The light of morn

Eyes that watch
Your every move
Slowly unlatch
Everything you will lose

Reddened eyes
From forgotten tears
Forgotten lies
Forgotten fears

Reddened eyes
From lack of sleep
Cut the ties
You once would keep

Bloodied eyes
Stabbed in contempt
Crimson skies
Heaven sent

Eyes that sting
Cloaked in death
Lungs that ring
Of the one last breath

Each poem seem s to get better and darker as I go on. I absoultly loved this one. Rally and truly I think it one of your best. the words are simple yet so powerful, and the emtions are stong and clear. again you have went far beyond expection. well done 5/5
