Sister

by Bill Turner   Aug 13, 2005

She accepts me for who I am
Never judges what I’ve done
Listens with an open mind
To all I have to say

She has always been there
No matter the crises
Steady like a rock
Making it a brighter day

She can count on me too
She never does
Lately she opens up more
About life and what is in store

She is one of the strongest people I know
Her strength lies in her heart
Like a ship in a storm
Staying true to her course

I have never felt closer
Than I feel now
There is nothing I wouldn’t do for you
Just ask me; I love you, my sister

I love this. This is how my sister and I are. Amazingly, no-one should get in between us when we argue, but it is because we are so close.. Mine is older than me, and it's easier to need her than she needs me, but recently, I have discovered that is how she needs me.. she needs me to trust her, and I do, implicitely.. xx

beautifully written, from the first part to the last. It may not rhyme but it has the perfect flow. Outstanding job!!
