Trust

by BreatheNoMore   Aug 14, 2005

Your face is emotionless
I miss you more than I can say
If being close holds such distance
How will I bear the time one of us drifts away?

I’m thrust down with this load of blame
Now I sit here writing
Bleeding
Crying
You sit right strait ahead of me
The tears are coming steadily
I put my last ounce of trust in you
And you failed me miserably

Is it too much to ask?
Believe I know what’s right
I am powerless to steer your lack of will
I toil to describe color to the blind

Like choosing a side to fulfill a craving to fight
Dependency comes tumbling down
With one last message
To ambiguous for you to sing
You should believe that together
We would have had everything
