I'm sorry grandpa that I didn't come today
But now I will say what I need to say
I just didn't think I could come because of everything that was going on
But that was no excuse, you really are gone
I thought that if I went people would stare at me
But that shouldn't have mattered it was you I was there to see
I know that I should have come
And that now you are in a much better home
I will be able to see you again
But for now it's good-bye and I miss you
Until then......

    Though old by dating analysis, it still sends a warm new message across the mind, that Until then..really holds.. I already have a similar titled poem.. Good job.. Death is only a passage to eternity..we all shall ply, some day.. Take heart..

    i'm sorry ur grandpa is gone..it's just the cycle of life i guess.. it's ok if u didnt get to see him one last time, i'm sure he knows how much u love him and this poem proves it.
