Why now and not then?

When i look around
I see my friends
The ones who care about me
And I love them

But i can't help but wonder
Where were these people two years ago
Back when the darkness overpowered me
And there was no light in my life

A phone call to an old friend saved my life
One person changed my life forever
I can live to get back the life and friends i lost when i moved
