Why her

Why does she have to go through this
why cant it be me
she's 5 and theres so much
that she has to deal with.
i love her like i never loved any other little girl.
she has a smile of gold.
and when i was with my best friend
it was the three of us
why did god have to pick her
maybe its so her family
can see how truly special she is
i just want to know why
and if i could take her place i would.
