A true friend

by jac   Aug 18, 2005

Will you be there
to catch me when I fall?
I'm just so scared
that you wont be there at all

it's a two foot drop
to hang from this rope
I was never at the top
now I've lost all hope

everyone says that I'm so perfect
that I have a flawless life
I never get into trouble
but because of that, I'm taking a dive

my home makes me nauseous
from all of this stress
I'm always so cautious
I hardly get any rest

now it's time for all of this to end
for me to move onto a better place
right now, you're my only friend
I'm sorry that i had to lose this race

as I tighten the rope around my neck
you barge through my door
you look like such a nervous wreck
but still save me from this mindless horror
