Box

by iwanttobalone   Aug 18, 2005

In my hands i hold a box
in it are my secrets and thoughts
dump it out. what do you see?
things that you were sure weren't me

a razor. some pills. a book of lies.
a stupid mask for my disguise
lighters. matches. a pile of ashes
a knife made for making gashes

a picture from when times were fine
the poem from when i crossed the line
the hour i forgot. then the cost.
the compassion and love i thought i lost

on the floor there is a box
all around are my secrets and thoughts
you pick them up, and put them in
when you left me, i opened it again...

WOW i love it it is so good. It is exactly how I feel right now. I put all my things in a "box" to hide everything from everybody so nobody sees my hurt and pain that i go through NO i don't cut myself either. But I really liked the poem
