Untitled x

The anger that burns behind my eyes
The hatred I feel building deep inside
The fast pulse of my racing heart
The rage tearing me apart

I look my hands, clenched tight
My hand a fist, my knuckles white
I look in the mirror, I see a lie
A hypocrite who should have died

I look at arms, covered in sleeves
Knowing too well what lies underneath
The scars that remain, that won’t ever fade
The lines and marks the razor made

The lies told to my best friend
The deceptions and stories that never end
The self-hate I have inside of me
The curse from which I’ll never be free
