The Walls

by Christina Gomes   Aug 21, 2005

The walls are too cold
The walls are too high
Distantly raining
Down from the sky
Purple and blue
Black and dark grey
Hold onto these thoughts
They'll all fly away
Pointless dreams
Beliefs remade
Hold onto these thoughts
Or else they'll fade
Red and light pink
Petals all fall
Look carefully
It's such a cold wall
Again and again
The melodies replay
Its too high to climb
Look for a way

**Look I know it's not too clear but it's just what my mind was circling but please try and interpret it. I'm curious to see what you guys come up with** Thanks!

When i read it i thought the walls were like all ur problems and struggles, all the bad things(too high, too cold)

the at the end it was like, "find a way" so i think it means that there's always a way out but you have to look and nothin comes easy...

    make sense?

neway, amazin peice, just like all your work! :)

That was really good Christina. Made me think about what it could mean. Hmmm, I think maybe it could mean that like walls are surrounding you and there is no way out, but I dunno. It was a great poem, though
