The white room

by tiffany   Aug 23, 2005

Walls all white
floors cold to the touch
a surrealistic dream
it's all too much.

Being helped on a bed
by huge men, also in white
all strapped down, arms, legs and head
not being able to move, forced to look into the light.

A needle stabbed into flesh
brings a tiny drop of blood.
Things start to fade,
darkness comes in a flood.

The pain comes with a jolt
as it seers through the heart
memories all get fuzzy
as the electricity tears them apart.

As reality comes back,
the pain subsides.
The doctors have found everything
that the mind hides.
