Flashback

As you reached the gates of heaven,
You thought of your life on earth.
You remembered the conversations u had with God
Especially the happy ones you had with him.
Then, you remembered the doubtful thoughts that clouded your mind.
Like when you were depressed
And needed someone to lean on,
You thought he was not there,
He was there with you the whole time.
Even when it did not seem like he was there.
You just were not looking hard enough.
Then you gave up on him
And started handling things on your own.
Everything started to fall apart in your life.
You needed someone to cry out to.
But you were blinded from him and instead
You thought that you were worthless
And no one cared about you.
So you started doing things that were destructive to your body.
And you knew they were, but you did them anyway.
Because you felt that when you did it,
All your stress and worries went away,
But when it was over with,
The stress and worries would come back
Like clouds would come back after the rain.
Then finally when you were on the border of life and death,
One thing suddenly popped into your head.
It was one day when you were younger
And you were at Sunday school.
And the teacher was talking about how much God loves you.
Most of the things she said were mumbles,
But one thing came out very clear to you.
It was that no matter what you do,
God will always love you.
And that he will always be there for you when you are troubled.
Because you are very important to him
It was then that you noticed God was there the whole time,
You just did not see him
So you dropped on the floor
And prayed that he will help you through that hard time.
He forgave you for those things
And let them sink to the bottom of the ocean.
And he forgot about them forever.
So the film of your life went on,
And you were right with God always,
You were sincerely sorry when you did something wrong,
You tried your hardest to please him,
And the last scene of the film was when you were dying.
You looked so pale, so cold, so lifeless.
And your body looked so fragile,
That if anyone touched it, it would break.
Then you died,
The film ended.
You felt like you did not deserve
To be forgiven for all the bad things you did.
So when you confronted God, he noticed that something was wrong
And of course he already knew what it was,
But he asked you anyway.
So you told him that
You felt like you were not worthy of being forgiven
Then he smiled at you and told you that maybe u were not
But he did anyway a
And he did not care what bad things you did.
That was the past, and the past does not matter now.
As long as you loved God with all your heart,
He would let you into heaven.
You answered the question God asked you right,
Then you went into the everlasting paradise.
