DTS - I Decided You Weren't Worth It

by Bryan Berry   Aug 25, 2005

I saw you today
But I didn't go say hi
My mind was in control
My stomach had not a butterfly
I didn't think about you
The same way I did before
I simply walked you out
Of my beating heart's door

I decided
That you weren't worth it
I'm better now
So my heart won't throw a fit
And so do you see
You don't mean that much to me

I slept soundly tonight
No dreams of you came to mind
I feel much better
This tension can now unwind
I just don't stare at you
My eyes have broken their chains
My heart beats stronger now
That I don't have to bear these pains

I decided
That you weren't worth it
I'm better now
So my heart won't throw a fit
And so do you see
You don't mean that much to me

You greeted me
For the very first time
It was plain to see
You're not worth a dime
But I was polite
And responded in kind
My heart put up no fight
There was peace in my mind

I decided
That you weren't worth it
I'm better now
So my heart won't throw a fit
And so do you see
You don't mean that much to me

I know you're disappointed
It's all over now
My crush on you is through
