When You Killed Me...!

**It's about my "best friend" and sadly its all true - written a while ago though**

If I was to never see you again, would you miss me at all?
As I walk away, can you hear my soul shattering across the floor?
In my deepest hour of need, you were nowhere to be found.
You couldn't even hear me screaming, but I heard you without a sound.
You'll say you don't know what you did wrong, but it's more of what you didn't do.
It's the things you never said to me, you haven't got a clue.
We're meant to trust each other, that's the way it's meant to be!
The sad part is, I trusted you, but you never trusted me.
You said "without you I wouldn't be here, I love you more than life."
And stupid me believed it, until you twisted in the knife.
Your lies cut me so deep, that I'd feel better if I couldn't feel.
You may think I'm exaggerating, but this pain to me is real.
When I was close to death, all you cared about was you.
When I discovered your lies, you said everyone else already knew.
It kills me that all these new exciting things I'm learning, I have no-one with which to share.
There's so many things I've wanted to tell you, but I can't cause you're never there.
The truth is, your words will always hurt me, and your silence kills me more.
But whatever you do I'll always love you, cause isn't that what friends are for?
