Nature's Embrace

by Lydie   Aug 26, 2005

It's the soft wind against my hair
the light breeze against my face
photographic memories
I just can't seem to place,

The soft crunch along the stones
my shadow along the ground
the wildlife around me
every sweet eccentric sound,

Every last whisper
of nature around me
so much beauty
for one to see,

Hands trickle in the water
feeling the liquid against my skin
ripples on the water
the day-dreaming mode i'm in,

Nature all around
the beauty everywhere
lost in such a sensation
having no care,

Walking along slowly
the footsteps in a perfect pace
a burning sunset across the sky
nature's perfect embrace,

Soon to be home
before it gets dark
pace begins to slow down
as I leave the park.

You painted a beautiful picture in my mind ..
Your choice of words captivated my imagination and held it ..

A very beautiful topic to write about ...
One that we often don't take the time to notice ... But really should..
    Beautiful job ...

The third segment seems too short, maybe adding words to the lines to even it out.
    the day-dreaming mode i'm in
I think it would sound better if you change mode to zone.
a burning sunset across the sky
    that is beautiful!
i like your discriptions, it's really beautiful and i feel like i'm there. nice job, 5/5

Good read,.. its always good to capture the beauty of the ordinary, in an extraordinary way, which u did very well with this piece.. to some it's just a walk in the park,.. but to you its something beautiful u chose to spend ur time writing about.. i like this.. it reminds us to look for the beauty and happiness in life on our own; that u just have to take a little time to see it.. loved the way u caught this piece.. images were great.. 5/5.. pZ
