Never Feel Like Writing Again

It has been a while since I have picked up a pen
I thought I would never feel like writing again
No more inspiration flowing through my veins
Body and mind suffocating as no blood is pumping to my brain

One day writing just seemed to be too much of a challenge
For society is deteriorating and has taken one steep plunge
This world is as cold as ice
Humanity is what we have all sacrificed

Evil and violence own the headlines that we read
The world is full of people that are all driven by greed
Random acts of kindness is what the human race is in need
If we do not change our ways what will the world be like for our seeds?
