The Generous/Love's Curse

by Aidyn   Aug 30, 2005

Alone and lonely, new and fresh
The silent sorrow of untouched flesh
Longing for more; a caress, a kiss
Wanting the knowledge of first passion's bliss

So whisper a chant to call for me
I will listen, you will see
I always give, with generous cause
Without condition, rule, or clause

A spark occurs, and then a fire,
To answer lonely heart's desire
New senses welling from within
The softest touch, a quiet din

So chant a prayer for mercy, sweet
That enemies falter, easy defeat
I shall not fail, I will concede
It is to your command I heed

A shield is born of courage, strong
To protect from evils that do love wrong
And still the senses do entice
But everything must have a price

So sing an overture filled with hope
Through tests and trials that you will cope
I will aid with power and stealth
But the largest test is inside yourself

My weakness lies not in my own
But in the hearts who my aid chose
One tiny break and I will leave
And in my place, loathing perceives

So Scream a requiem of spite and hate
I will not listen; I will not wait
I gave to you just what you asked
Not everything is meant to last.

Yet another installment in my series, "The Fallen"
Other installments include:

The Misjudged
The Fragile
The Tormented/The Fugitive
The Resolute/Tormented's End

As always, any VOTE AND/OR COMMENT would help greatly. Thanks for reading
