I shall empty my veins

I shall empty my veins and bleed away,
All the evil in my blood,
All the times I hurt people,
And all the things that I did wrong.

I shall tear open my heart and release,
The times when I failed to love,
The times when I forgot to love,
And all the times when I was not loved myself.

I shall erase all my memories and wipe away,
The thoughts of abuse, both mental and physical,
The thoughts of death and grieving,
And the thoughts of all that I have lost.

I shall close my eyes so I am blind to,
The images of everybody hating me,
The people shouting and insulting me,
And the jeering faces that follow me wherever I go.

I shall free my soul so I no longer have to endure,
The pain that life brings me each day,
The years of suffering that Ive put up with,
And the empty feeling of never being good enough...
